Champagne

Champagne is a prestigious sparkling wine, produced exclusively in the Champagne wine region, located in the northeast of France. It is the only wine in the world that can legally bear this name, due to a strictly regulated controlled designation of origin (AOC). This wine is produced using the traditional method (or méthode champenoise), which involves a secondary fermentation in the bottle to create its bubbles.
