Crémants are sparkling wines produced using the traditional method, similar to the one used for Champagne, but in specific wine regions outside of Champagne. These wines are made through a double fermentation process, where the second fermentation occurs in the bottle, creating the characteristic bubbles. The term “Crémant” is used to refer to sparkling wines from various French regions (and even outside of France), each with its own specificities in terms of terroir, grape varieties, and style.
